RSOC aka RS Owners Club (RS meaning Rallye Sport).
The Club (History)
Formed in 1980 by a small group of enthusiasts, The Ford RS Owners Club has grown into an International Car Club catering for all RS Models Built by Ford since 1969. Members of the club are involved in many branches of Motorsport and we have a very high standard of Concourse Competition within our ranks.
The Nottingham Group
It all started back in 1990 when Kev, Greg, Adrian, Martin Clifford And Martin Harris formed a local group of the RSOC. From the humble beginnings at the "Commodore" Basford we moved to Rolls Royce Hucknall were we spent 4-5 years. Moving on from there we had meets at Linby and Papplewick and also the Tiger Moth before moving to the Shepards Inn in Cotgrave, in 2007 we moved from the Shepards Inn because of a redesign of he pub that just didn't suite our club anymore, we spend a couple of meets at the Nags Head in Woodbough before settling at the Springfield Hotel Nr Epperstone. Over the last 18 years the group has grown and has held three very successful regional days, two at the Model Aviation Centre and one at Holme Pierrepont.
